To get back on the track of the tractor so to speak I would like to relate a tale told me by Alec when I was a boy of how he and his brother Willie were crossing the desert and got stuck in a sand storm and the way they eventually found them was by following the trail of beer bottles.

Alec and Willie always took a couple of crates of Worthington beer with them on the " Cat ".

Here we have a photo of another small mishap when a Tractor got caught in a Wadi flash flood.
