PERSONAL

I am 41 years old ,married with two children.
I am the current Webmaster for the Inverness Royal Naval Association, URL
www.rnainverness.org.uk and have been for the last 6 years also I designed and maintained a website for a Holiday Business, Littlegarve
I feel I have good Inter-Personal skills both with colleagues and clients who equally deserve respect and consideration.

As well as web design I also enjoy collecting and restoring Vintage Radios, to view some of my restorations go to Radiorevivals

From 1998 I have been working on various contracts supporting users of Microsoft Internet Explorer and its attendant programs in their endeavors to access the Internet and stay connected to it.
Contracts I have been employed on include BTInternet, Tesconet, Yahoo Click, G-Wizz, Yell, Barclays, Nationwide and BTOpenworld Broadband.
In a supporting role I have worked on the password resets desk, email support desk, 1st line support and Covered as 2nd line support and as Call Centre Manager. Signed off work due to Hip Pain (Bilateral Trochanteral Bursitis) 22/05/2002.

From 1987 to 1992 I was employed as Consultant for the Audio/Visual Consumer Electronics Department specialising in Televideo and Personal Computers where I was very successful ,winning an award for constantly achieving sales targets and indeed surpassing them.
In 1992 due to a Higher Management decision the Consumer Electronics Department was closed down, however due to staff shortages in the Furnishings Department I was transferred to there where subsequently I was given 3 sections as my responsibility .The sections I was given charge of had all realised increases in sales of over 25% after 1 year.
In early 1996 I was given control of the Small Electricals Department where again I managed to increase sales by over 25%.
In order to accomplish the above I utilised the company’s computer system to it's utmost with extensive use of LAN, WAN and Intranet facilities also spreadsheet analysis.
Due to a spinal injury sustained while moving stock was certified as medically unfit due to Osteoarthritis complications for approximately 1 year, terminated employment due to premises not suited to my physical capabilities (Facilities only accessible by climbing Stairs).
